Re-Enrollment for 2026-2027
Dear Pace Brantley Families,
As we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for choosing Pace Brantley Preparatory School as your educational partner. Your trust in us to guide and support your child’s unique academic journey means everything to our dedicated team of educators, therapists, and specialists. At PBPS, your child is not just known, they are truly seen, celebrated, and championed every single day.
Our commitment to educational excellence continues to earn national recognition. We are proud to be named an Orlando Business Journal Top High School, Best of Longwood High School, and a top LD school by Beacon College, Step Up for Students, and RedefinED magazine. We hold a special designation as a “Spotlight School” from Thinking Maps, a testament to our whole-school approach to structured, visual thinking.
A Rich, Comprehensive Program Built for Your Child
What sets Pace Brantley apart is not any single program, it is the way all of our programs work together to meet each learner where they are and carry them further than they imagined possible. Here is a look at the full breadth of what your child experiences here:
Academic Excellence & Specialized Instruction
• Orton-Gillingham Instruction: Our certified OG teachers in the elementary division deliver structured, multisensory reading and language instruction, the gold standard for students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences.
• Trained Faculty Across All Level: Every PBPS teacher is trained to understand diverse learners. Our staff does not just tolerate different learning profiles — they are experts in them.
• Thinking Maps Across All Subjects: Visual thinking tools woven into every classroom to develop organized, flexible thinkers.
• Mediated Learning Experiences: Individualized support that develops critical thinking, metacognition, and problem-solving in all subjects.
• STEM Classes: Hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, and math that builds curiosity, collaboration, and real-world application skills.
Executive Function, Life Skills & Social-Emotional Learning
• Executive Function Skills Classes: Dedicated coursework targeting organization, planning, time management, self-regulation, and other skills essential to success in school and life.
• Social Skills Groups (Elementary & Middle) Structured, therapist-guided groups where students practice navigating friendships, reading social cues, resolving conflict, and building the confidence to connect.
• Building Collaboration & Presentation Skills: Students learn to work in teams, share ideas, advocate for themselves, and communicate with clarity and confidence.
• On-Site Speech-Language & Occupational Therapy: Integrated therapeutic services that support communication, sensory processing, fine motor development, and daily functioning.
Creative Arts, Enrichment & Real-World Experiences
• TV Production: Students learn the art of storytelling, broadcasting, and media production, developing technical skills alongside creativity and confidence.
• Drama: Our performing arts program invites students to step into new perspectives, build emotional expression, and experience the joy and discipline of live performance.
• Stage Craft: Behind-the-scenes technical theater, where students design, build, and operate the elements that bring productions to life.
• FLEX Classes: Flexible enrichment experiences are designed to spark curiosity, fuel creativity, and give students space to explore interests beyond the traditional curriculum.
• Field Trips: Real-world learning adventures that connect classroom concepts to the wider world, build community, and create memories that last long after graduation.
Preparing for Life After Pace
• Preparing for After Pace (Senior Program) Our dedicated senior transition program equips graduates with the skills, self-knowledge, and practical tools they need to thrive at college, vocational school, or in the workforce.
• Exceptional Outcomes: 85% of our graduating seniors go on to postsecondary institutions. PBPS graduates attending Beacon College receive a $10,000 annual Pathway Scholarship. The remaining 15% successfully transition to vocational schools or meaningful careers.
A Culture of Fairness, Kindness & Respect
Everything at Pace Brantley is grounded in our daily pledge of fairness, kindness, and respect. Our students are not defined by their diagnoses, they are defined by their character, their resilience, and the extraordinary things they accomplish when given the right environment and support. We are proud of the culture our families and staff have built together, and we are committed to honoring and growing it every single year.
