Book Club!
What could be better than gathering with other book lovers and talking about the books we are reading, have read, and want to read? Join Mrs. Portilla for an afternoon of bookish things- a little arts and crafts, a little creative writing, and a lot of reading! You can bring your own book or borrow one from her extensive library of books ranging from Amelia Bedilia, Junie B Jones, and I survived to the Harry Potter series, books by Alan Gratz (Refugee and Ground Zero), and chilling mysteries and thrillers. Not a reader? That’s ok- we are sure we can find just the right book to grab and keep your interest!
Open to all grade levels.
