Pace Brantley Student Artwork Featured in Elegy for the Unseen at the Orlando Science Center
Pace Brantley Preparatory School is proud to have 11 High School artists represented in Elegy for the Unseen: The Art of Extinct Species, a special exhibition at Orlando Science Center’s Fusion Gallery. This marks the second time Pace Brantley students have been invited to exhibit their artwork in the Fusion Gallery through generous sponsorship provided through Art for All Spaces. These opportunities give our young artists the exciting real world experience of displaying their work alongside established artists from the community.
The students’ mixed media pieces pay tribute to creatures that once roamed the Earth and played a critical role in the ecosystem during their lifetime. The exhibition opened on August 29th and runs through November 15, 2026. Both Pace Brantley High School and Middle School students are planning separate field trips to the Orlando Science Center this Semester to see their classmates’ artwork on display and experience the intersection of art and science firsthand. If you would like to dive deeper into the exhibit, Pace Brantley’s Science Department Chair, Ms. Gisel Arias, will lead gallery tours on September 5, October 3, and November 7 at 1:00 p.m., sharing additional insight into the extinct species and the science behind the exhibition.
